🇻🇳 Our Visit to W.ell Fabrics in Vietnam

Meeting W.ell Fabrics in Vietnam

We recently had the amazing opportunity to visit Vietnam and meet the supplier of our beautiful bamboo biocell fabric in person!

Tucked away in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City is W.ell Fabrics, where innovation meets sustainability to create the beautiful fabrics we use in our designs. we had the pleasure of meeting Dave Quach, the founder of W.ell Fabrics — one of the key suppliers of our sustainable bamboo biocell fabric.

Although we didn’t get a chance to tour the factory, Dave generously met with us in person and walked us through their incredible fabric range. We got to see and feel their bamboo biocell, and he also introduced us to some innovative plant-based materials — including fabric made from pineapple fibres. It was a beautiful glimpse into the future of sustainable textiles.

Our conversation with Dave gave us real insight into how seriously W.ell Fabrics takes sustainability, ethical sourcing, and quality control. It meant a lot to connect face-to-face with someone so passionate about eco-fashion — and it gave us full confidence in choosing their fabrics for our collections.

🌿 What Is Bamboo Biocell – And Why We Use It 🌿

Bamboo biocell (also known as bamboo lyocell) is a sustainable, plant-based fabric made from bamboo pulp. The bamboo is processed using a closed-loop system, where water and solvents are reused instead of wasted. This method reduces environmental impact and ensures that no harmful chemicals enter the environment.

The result? A lightweight, breathable, and beautifully soft fabric that feels luxurious on the skin — and leaves a far lighter footprint on the Earth.

✨ Why We Use Bamboo Biocell at Pixies ✨

🌬 Super Soft & Cooling
It has a silky texture, somewhere between cotton and satin, making it perfect for bralets, flowy tops, and summer-ready outfits.

🌿 Naturally Antibacterial & Breathable
Ideal for festivals, travel, and everyday wear — bamboo keeps you feeling fresher for longer.

🌱 Low-Impact Growing
Bamboo grows rapidly without the need for pesticides or irrigation, making it one of the most renewable and eco-friendly crops in the world.

♻️ Biodegradable
Unlike synthetic fabrics, bamboo biocell breaks down naturally over time, returning to the Earth without harm.

Every fabric we choose at Pixies Sustainable Clothing tells a story — not just of style, but of integrity, connection, and care. Bamboo biocell is a fabric we trust, and one we’re proud to bring into your wardrobe.
